Saatchi Sale & Thanksgiving Show (Sat. Oct 9th)

Well, I sold my first painting on my Saatchi shop, Floral Explosive, on Saatchi and i’m so happy - a big thank you to my buyer! It’s a 10”x14”x1.5” mixed media piece (acrylic/paper/ink/pastel) on cradled wood panel.

Lately, i’ve been doodling while listening to podcasts (on art of course!). I use random coloured paper with coloured pencils, sharpies, felt pens and pastels. My inspiration consists of floral images found on Pinterest (you can find my boards and pins here).

See below for a handful of these spontaneous works - they are roughly 8.5”x11” each. They don’t take too long to make, an hour or so, and they’re fun because they’re quick - I don’t second guess myself. Of course, there have been a couple duds which I won’t show!

I am also pleased to announce my upcoming show on Saturday October 9th (Thanksgiving in Canada) from 9am to 5pm. It will be outdoors in my Courtyard Gallery so it will be COVID safe!

Please bring a mask, and dress warm - hand sanitizer will be available.
