bio
Meghana is an emerging artist based in Edmonton, Alberta. She grew up in BC where she was influenced by her lush surroundings to appreciate nature. Her main subjects are painting expressive, semi-abstracted florals, as well as expressive, “pop” portraits.
She has 11 years of art experience as well as informal and formal education including a Certificate of Visual Arts with distinction from the UofA Extension in Edmonton. However, learning never stops, so she continually reads, researches and attends workshops for inspiration.
More recently, she has begun to teach at the Paint Spot, Allied Arts Council of Spruce Grove and Harcourt House in Edmonton and enjoys it immensely. She lives and creates with her family and is a happily active member of the art community in Edmonton.
